PARIS, January 9. /TASS/. Riot police in Paris have stormed a kosher grocery store on the eastern outskirts of the city that was seized earlier on Friday by a gunman in support of another hostage-taking action committed in the aftermath of Wednesday’s massacre at the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo magazine.
The operation at the grocery store in Porte de Vincennes was held simultaneously with the operation at the printing press in Dommartin-en-Goele.
French news media said all the hostages were alive and the police had led them out of the store safe and sound but two policemen had been wounded.
The storm was preceded by about a minute’s shooting and no less than four explosions of hand-grenades.
After the release of the hostages was over, teams of the emergency medics were rushed to the spot.
