| Government plans to get 55 bln roubles from privatization in 2010

MOSCOW, November 23 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s government plans to get around 55
billion roubles from a new wave of privatization of the country’ s strategic
enterprises in 2010, an official at the Russian government told reporters on
Monday ahead of the Cabinet’s meeting that will consider the privatization plan
for next year.
“Fourteen joint stock companies that are expected to be excluded from the
strategic list account for around 55 billion roubles,” the official said.
The official forecasts that this list of strategic enterprises will be
approved by the president and included into the privatization plan.
“Meanwhile, the whole program costs 77 billion roubles,” the official said.
