Russian humanitarian convoy arrives in Lugansk

70 trucks have delivered to Lugansk over 700 tonnes of humanitarian cargo - food, construction materials, and essentials

MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. A humanitarian convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has arrived to Lugansk, Oleg Voronov, deputy head of the ministry’s national crisis management centre, told TASS on Sunday.

"70 trucks have delivered to Lugansk over 700 tonnes of humanitarian cargo - food, construction materials, and essentials," he said adding the drivers had not reported any emergency situation en route.

As the trucks are unloaded, they will return to Russia’s Rostov region.
