Eleven civilians die in east Ukraine shelling over past 24 hours — DPR defense ministry

DONETSK, February 2. /TASS/. Eleven civilians have been killed and more than 40 wounded in shelling of east Ukraine's self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, local defense ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.

"Civilian casualties left 11 dead and 42 wounded, raising the number of people killed overnight by 7 and wounded by four," the Donetsk news agency quoted Basurin as saying.
