Deinego: Donetsk, Lugansk republics have data Kiev getting ready for new offensive

East-Ukrainian self-defence forces need dialogue with Kiev, not a monologue of the Ukrainian government, he said

MINSK, January 31. /TASS/. Authorities of the self-proclaimed unrecognized Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have the data that the Ukrainian government forces are getting ready for a new offensive, Vladislav Deinego, the plenipotentiary representative of the Lugansk republic said here on Saturday night upon the end of a yet another meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine.

East-Ukrainian self-defence forces need dialogue with Kiev, not a monologue of the Ukrainian government, he said.

Participants in the Saturday meeting of the Contact Group for settling the crisis in eastern Ukraine did not discuss the date of the next meeting, the plenipotentiary representative of the self-proclaimed unrecognized Lugansk People’s Republic to the Minsk negotiations, Vladislav Deinego, told TASS after the talks.

"The data of the next meeting was not discussed," he said. "We laid out our position and the Ukrainian side laid out its own position."

"The differences still concern the line of disengagement, and as we said earlier we proceed from the line that exists today in practice while Ukraine insists on the line that existed on September 19, 2014," Deinego said.
