MINSK, January 30. /TASS/. The heads of the eastern Ukrainian self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) are ready to arrive in Minsk when the sides reach consensus on the text of the agreement on the Ukrainian conflict settlement, LPR chief negotiator Vladislav Deinego said on Friday.

"The heads of the republics are ready to come here when the agreement text is completed. Ukraine is unwilling to agree on the text," he said.

Talks of the Contact Group failed to take place in Minsk on Friday as Kiev’s representatives were absent, Deinego said earlier.

"Unfortunately, no Ukrainian representative showed up," he said adding that "Ukraine is shirking the dialogue again."

Ukraine’s ex-President Leonid Kuchma, Kiev’s representative at Minsk talks, said the Contact Group on Ukraine may meet on Saturday, January 31.

"Our trip is scheduled for tomorrow. We are going to set off in the morning," the Ukrainian Novosti news agency said citing Kuchma’s words to reporters.

Kuchma said preparations and consultations with regard to stances of all the sides are still underway.
