Five civilians killed, 10 wounded in shelling of Gorlovka

Electricity transmission lines and the water supplies system were damaged

DONETSK, January 24. /TASS/. Five civilians were killed in the shelling of the town of Gorlovka in eastern Ukraine, the press service of the city administration said on Saturday.

“Five civilians were killed and ten more were wounded in yesterday’s shelling. Electricity transmission lines and the water supplies system were damaged,” the press service said, adding that two water treatment stations had been cut off electricity.

“A total of 51 boiler houses have been shut down due to the lack of gas and electricity,” the press service said.
