LPR creates structures to pay pensions, social allowances

In early December, the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic approved a roadmap to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the financial system

LUHANSK, December 12. /TASS/. The self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) has founded agencies for paying pensions and social allowances, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Svetlana Malakhova said on Friday.

“The bodies, which will pay pensions and social allowances, are now starting the work as state agencies. The structure and staff listing have been coordinated,” the Novorossia news agency quoted the minister as saying.

In early December, the republic approved a roadmap to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the financial system. The document will make it possible to pay pensions and social allowances. It consists of three key document packages: a map designed to ensure temporary operation of the banking system, a plan on measures to ensure payment of pensions and social allowances, and a map to create the republic's financial and budget system.
