TEL AVIV, December 7. /TASS/. Israel has refused to comment on reports about air strikes by its warplanes in the vicinity of Syria’s capital city Damascus.

“We don’t comment such reports,” the press service of the Israeli army told TASS on Sunday. No comments followed from the Israeli prime minister’s office.

Earlier on Sunday, the SANA news agency said citing a Syrian government representative that Israel’s warplanes had delivered air strikes on civil facilities near the Syrian capital city Damascus. According to the representative, air strikes were delivered on districts in the Dimas locality and in the vicinity of the international airport of the Syrian capital. No one was hurt.
