Lugansk Republic institutes commission for compensating damage to victims of operation

“Peaceful civilians are dying, houses are on fire and residential areas are being shelled,” Vasily Nikitin, the head of the newly-formed republic stressed

LUGANSK, May 28 /ITAR-TASS/. Vasily Nikitin, the head of the newly-formed Lugansk People’s Republic, has instituted a special commission to compensate for the damage caused by the punitive operation carried out the Kiev-controlled army units, Vasily Nikitin, the prime minister of the newly-formed Lugansk People’s Republic, told journalists on Wednesday.

“Peaceful civilians are dying, houses are on fire and residential areas are being shelled. Parents, wives and children are losing their breadwinners,” Nikitin stressed.

Nikitin pledged to pay material compensation to the relatives of dead civilians who suffered physical and material damage.
