VIENNA, January 22. /TASS/. Russian snowboarder Andrey Sobolev won silver on Thursday in men’s parallel slalom at the 2015 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships, held in Austria’s Kreischberg between January 15 and 25.

Italy’s Roland Fischnaller won the gold medal and Slovenia’s Rok Marguc packed home the bronze.

Russia’s Vic Wild, who is dual Olympic champion of the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, failed to clear the quarterfinals race, while another Russian snowboarder Stanislav Detkov did not qualify.
