Legendary Soviet ice hockey coach Viktor Tikhonov died at the age of 84. Viktor Tikhonov was the coach of the Soviet team when it was the most dominant team in the world, winning world cups in 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1989, 1990. As coach he won Olympics gold at three straight games.  Viktor Tikhonov is in the IIHF Hall of Fame. TASS recalls the legendary coach of the Soviet Union and CSKA Moscow and his victories.
