MOSCOW, February 17. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry has described as "openly discriminatory" the Ukrainian parliament’s decision to strip Russian mass media of accreditation at Ukraine’s bodies of state power.

"The openly discriminatory decision by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada to strip Russia mass media of accreditation at the bodies of state power is an extension of the policy to clear the country’s media space of alternative points of view," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The adoption of this document against the backdrop of the latest resolutions by the Normandy Quartet’s leaders calls in question Kiev’s interest in a peace settlement," the commentary said.
