MOSCOW, January 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday congratulated Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Republic Day.
India’s achievements in the economic, social, scientific, technical and cultural spheres and the country’s active foreign policy facilitate the resolution of key regional and global issues, Putin said in the greetings telegram.
“We value privileged strategic partnership built between our states,” he said.
“I’m sure that we’ll develop a constructive political dialogue and mutually advantageous cooperation in all fields. This meets basic interests of our friendly peoples and ensures international stability and security,” Putin said.
He wished the Indian president and the premier good health, happiness and success. Putin also wished prosperity to all Indian citizens.
