MOSCOW, January 26. /TASS/. Russia shares most of the principles that the Syrian opposition groups — National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces (NCR) and National Coordination Committee (NCC) agreed upon in Cairo, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday after talks with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman.

“At meetings in Cairo these groups generally agreed on the principles for the settlement. We share most of these principles, as they proclaim the adherence to a united, territorially integral, secular Syria,” Lavrov said.

“It is also important that the NCR and NCC in Cairo called for pooling efforts in the fight against the terrorist threat,” the minister added.
