PERM, December 11 /TASS/. A painter from Perm, a city located close to the Urals in East European Russia, may face up to five years in jail for participating in an anti-Russian exhibition in Kiev, local prosecutors told TASS on Thursday.
Early in December, the Modern Art Center in Kiev featured an exhibition of patriotic posters in which the painter from Perm had taken part under the nickname of Paperdaemon. The painter also distributed his works in the Internet.
The Federal Security Service for the Perm Territory has initiated criminal proceedings on charges public calls in support of extremist activities by using IT networks, including the Internet.
