Putin, Human Rights Council to discuss observance of human rights December 5 — Kremlin

The participants in the meeting are planning to tell about their work this year and touch upon the priority issues of human rights and the development of civil society institutions in the regions

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with members of the Presidential Human Rights Council, federal and regional ombudsmen representing all Russian regions on December 5, the Kremlin press service said on Thursday.

“The participants in the meeting are planning to tell the head of state about their work this year and touch upon the priority issues of human rights and the development of civil society institutions in the regions,” the Kremlin said.

The meeting will be held ahead of Human Rights Day that is marked on December 10.
