Including over 11.4 thousand children

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. Over 36,500 Ukrainian refugees are staying at temporary accommodation facilities in Russian regions, representative of Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry Alexander Drobyshevsky told TASS on Saturday.

“The ministry and other federal authorities control the situation with refugees from Ukraine,” he said. “At 789 temporary accommodation facilities in Russian regions stay 36,500 people, who had to flee Ukraine’s south-eastern regions, including over 11.4 thousand children.”

The refugees are receiving everything necessary, including medical and psychological assistance.

Within past week, almost 30 temporary accommodation facilities were closed, as almost 3,000 refugees had left them.

“Up to 100 calls are registered daily to the ministry’s hotline,” the representative said.

The minister of emergency situations receives daily reports on all problems the Ukrainian refugees are facing, he added.
