Tourist, supposedly Russian, survives after falling in car from 250 m height in Thailand

Police identified the survivor as a Russian, but they know only his name - Nikolay

BANGKOK, December 19. /TASS/. A driver, supposedly a Russian citizen, was taken to hospital in Thailand after he fell in a car from a 250-metre height into the sea in the resort of Phuket in Thailand overnight, local police said.

The accident occurred at a site know for paragliding. The Honda Jazz car at full speed ran from a height into the sea. Fishermen called rescuers, who pulled the driver from the wrecked car.

Police identified the survivor as a Russian, but they know only his name - Nikolay.

He is unconscious in hospital, police said.
