KHMELYOVO (Bryansk Region), January 27. /TASS/. Russian agriculture can not only meet local demand in Russia, but also provide food for export, and this should be stimulated, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday.
"Obviously, Russia can not only feed itself, but also export products," Prime Minister said.
He added that in 2014 cattle production export rose by almost half year-on-year.
"We should take additional measures in order to stimulate export. But export is also a very important issue for enabling producers to earn money in other currencies and promote our opportunities," Medvedev said.
