MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. Israel does not consider switching to national currencies in its mutual transactions with Russia at the moment, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told TASS on Tuesday.

"We did not consider such a possibility," he said. "Shekel is an absolutely convertible currency in all over the world, as for the ruble there are some certain problems here," the minister added.

"We’re not facing a decrease in trade turnover [with Russia], but we could give it a big push," Lieberman said. "Our agricultural enterprises are private, we cannot make them raise or cut their sales. But their profitability is falling so the private sector has narrowed down the scope of cooperation with Russia due to currency rate."
